I wanted to get back to this activity and write a few things still down. To help me to remember it in the future as well.
I tried quite a few light settings, lenses and F-stops to get the images. I found out that the lens I usually like a lot (Nikon AF 50mm 1:1.8D), didn’t work so well here. So I changed and tried with Nikon AF 18-70mm 1:3.5-4.5G and tried also Tamron 18-270mm 1:3.5-6.3 lens. I liked the last one the best.
I was aiming to have a large F-stop to avoid the depth of field. Still keeping my shutter speed above 1/8s to avoid the noise. I used a tripod to keep the camera steady with a longer shutter speed. I didn’t use a flash while it gives too harsh shadows for the object.

Here’s also the facts for the photos I took and a picture of one of my set ups.
Other shots. With liquet it was difficult to avoid the edges/opening of the light box to be visible.
